When the technical director of the Hippodrome Theatre, Bob Hayes, wanted to update the lighting system for the historic facility, he called on the team he trusted: Excel Event & Lighting Solutions.
A six-figure project, the Excel team needed to replace the entire outdated lighting system—theater interiors, stage and effect lighting, and the control system—to bring it into the 21st century. Theater-goers now get to enjoy the improved ambiance and jaw-dropping lighting effects when attending shows—or just when they feel like having a party.
With five buildings? owned by the Hippodrome, pre- and post-show parties and company events are often held in their massive, open lobbies. In order to elevate the experience and bring something special to the venue, Excel installed new LED lighting systems throughout the lobbies with added details like up-lit columns.
The color-changing LED lighting systems show arriving guests that the Hippodrome is a contemporary, fresh venue that knows how to host stunning, personalized events.
